Gary: Did you know that Paul means 'small'?
Jody: (mostly distracted) Oh yeah? Gary: Yeah, it's French! Jody: (no response) Gary: (quietly, to himself) Just kidding. (pause) It's Japanese. Jody: Hey, let's play a game. Let's see how many Pokeman we can name.
Gary: Pikachu Jody: Jigglypuff! (silence) Gary: ...Char-Zar? (more silence) Jody: Well, that was fun. Let's play again sometime. (The game was inspired by our Chicco (pronounced kee-ko) Keyfit car seat. Because when you say "Chicco Keyfit" in a high-pitched voice, it sounds just like a Pokeman name.) My sister-in-law made us this amazing quilt. It absolutely blows my mind. I wish y'all could see it up close. Not only is it the cutest quilt ever, but the level of perfection in the details is mind-boggling.
One is stuffed, and the other is filled with rice so it can be heated up.
Nugget doesn't give a hoot; he just wants to chew their faces off. In early pregnancy, I kept hearing these rumors about pregnant women using a lot of pillows. "Why would you need more than one pillow?" I asked Gary. He didn't know.
Flash forward a few months. I had finished changing for bed and brushing my teeth, and before crawling into bed, I spent a few minutes arranging the six pillows I had collected into a sort of nest on the bed. "Ta-da!" I said as Gary walked in. He laughed at my set-up. I then walked off to take off my glasses and came back to find him throwing my pillows off the bed. "What are you doing!?" I exclaimed. He looked back at me and blinked. "Wait..." he said. "Are you actually going to use those?" "Yes!" I replied. "Oh, sorry," he said, "I thought you were doing it as a joke." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the current pillow situation: It doesn't have the size/weight/price tag of a DSLR, but check out what it can do. These are pictures I took of Nugget jumping up in the air, in indoor lighting, without using the flash: Pretty good, right?
