In early pregnancy, I kept hearing these rumors about pregnant women using a lot of pillows. "Why would you need more than one pillow?" I asked Gary. He didn't know.
Flash forward a few months.
I had finished changing for bed and brushing my teeth, and before crawling into bed, I spent a few minutes arranging the six pillows I had collected into a sort of nest on the bed.
"Ta-da!" I said as Gary walked in. He laughed at my set-up. I then walked off to take off my glasses and came back to find him throwing my pillows off the bed. "What are you doing!?" I exclaimed. He looked back at me and blinked.
"Wait..." he said. "Are you actually going to use those?"
"Yes!" I replied.
"Oh, sorry," he said, "I thought you were doing it as a joke."
